As I sat upon the cold concrete veranda, I wondered... How did they ever come to know... after all of this time.

I wondered... if destiny had finally dealt them a perfect hand.

I hoped.

As I watched them together... ever so perfect... My heart fluttered.

To begin there... Already so in love... No time to learn to trust... No doubts... No rose coloured glasses...

Just love.  Real... Honest... Love.

She searches his eyes... she can barely believe it is real...

He holds her so tight...

Afraid to let go...

Afraid it is all too good to be true...

Afraid that fate might take her from him...

Now...

After eleven long years of unrequited love.

Now...

That they are finally here... in this perfect place...

She rests her head upon his chest and they close their eyes...

Perhaps that moment will last forever.

Hope.

When I watch them together... I feel hope... Burning in me...

Certainty... that they shall walk hand in hand for a lifetime...

That all can be right with the world...

That love can be found...

That life can be fair. Perfect. 

Certainty.

Hope. 

And so... a new life will begin... Together.
In his arms she has found comfort...
In his heart she has found a home...
In his soul she has found forever...

...That our path is laid out for us... Long before our bare flesh ever touches the rich soil beneath it... 

Before we begin our long journey through this life...

Long before we hope or dream of what may lay ahead.

Destiny...

Fate.

There are moments where we stumble... and our path seems unclear...

where we question our journey... the road ahead...

become unsure of where we are meant to be...

how to get there...

But I also believe the moments we step from our path...

take wrong turns...

pause...

are all a part of the journey...

Where we learn... and discover...

everything that we will need...

to fulfill our destiny.

While we walk our path we will find happiness...

grief... love... loss... connections... passion...

and it is all we can do to walk through these days...

along these paths... 

with love in our hearts... loved ones in our arms...

Faith in our souls...

That what is meant to be... 

In time...

Will be.

Perfectly Beautiful Moments... Wagga Wagga Fine Art Photographer

There are days when I awake to a darkened room... still, quiet air... And it takes all of me just to simply not close my eyes again and drift off to a perfect world of make believe.  These such days I attempt to remind myself... that beyond these four walls... beauty and perfection awaits... where the sweet sun will kiss my skin... the gentle breeze will brush my hair... the birds will fill that quiet still air and make it all... 

Just as it is meant to be.

These such days I remind myself that beyond these four walls... a perfectly beautiful world awaits for Me...

  to touch it's rich soil with my bare feet... to inhale its sweetness...
to fill the air with my love... my laughter... my presence.  It is these such days that I reach for my camera... And I race to my car...

and I drive... and drive...

Until something perfectly beautiful calls upon me...

To stop... and freeze a perfectly beautiful moment in time...

Yesterday was such a day...

A gentle reminder that beautiful moments found in waking...

Are far more perfect than those only found in dreaming...
